Self Defense

  1. opposite arm grab: pin hand, pull toward me, roll grabed handout and put knife edge just above wrist, by twisting opponet's hand
  2. force elbow up and lock wrist and elbow.
  3. lapel grab (double): pin hand w/ opposite hand, push elbow up and around to lock sholder.
  4. Sholder grab (behind) - turn into arm, look before turn, use side kick to break grip, punch solar plexes, retreat.
  5. Double grab (IE front double choak) - forward to front stance, double head block to deflect opponenets arms up, drop to kneeling position and grab groin, yank, retreat (called "monkey steals the fruit).
  6. Lapel grab - reach across w/ far hand, grab hand w/ thumb over center of opponents knuckles, pull back to a "front stance" pulling opponents arm and roll hand over to lock elbow , use free hand to press elbow down and control arm.
  7. Sholder grab (front) - swin arm in a big circle catching his elbow in crock of yours. Continue until opponents elbow is locked an he is on "tip-toes". Punch and retreat.
