Sai Lines (Stationary)

  1. A: Itosu stance - circle block, punch high, high, mid, mid, low, low.
    B: Itosu stance - punch w/ right to left upper (high, high, mid, mid, low, low).
  2. The blocking drill
  3. LFF front stance, sais in lower blocks to sides, X block, outer blocks, press down, stab middle, mountian block.
  4. Itosu stance, circle block, change grip in front (point to back as if stabbing backwards), strike top of head (like hammer fist), change grip, lower block.. (Change grip there to repeat).
  5. Double strike front, change grip, overhead double shuto to neck, double low block.
  6. One butt end middle strike, change grip, 1,2,3,4, low block. (alternate sides)
  7. One butt end middle strike, outer block bo w/ "blade", draw sai (and bo) to outside (and toward self), slam sai forward along bo toward opponets fingers, lower block.
  8. Kyan 3 - down on one knee, low block, punch h/m/l, then stand up again.
  9. A: 45 degrees to left side, left arm upper block, right arm low block, right leg up (avoid sweep), shift to RFF front stance 45 degrees to right side, change grip, strike down, shuffle back, low block.
    B: 45 degrees to left, right leg up, change grip, strike down, change grip, shift to RFF front stance, low block.
  10. Empis - high, high, mid, mid, double mid punch.
