Experience in the Martial Arts:

	I started Martial Arts (MA) in August of 1982 in Isshin Ryu
	Karate.  I was in and out of MA due to college and work until
	January 1989, where I went back to Isshin Ryu and stayed until I
	moved here in May 1990. Shortly thereafter I joined the
	"Okinawan Karate Club of Dallas" under Sensei Ilene Smoger. 
	Since the school has combined the two styles of Shobayashi
	Shorin Ryu and Shudokan, my rank of Shodan (first degree black
	belt) is valid in both styles.  My rank was conferred directly
	by Master Walter Todd, head of the Shudokan style, on June 5,
	1994.

	I have additional experience in: Kung Fu, Bo, Bo-Combatives, Tai
	Chi, Tae Kwon Do, Jujitsu, Aki-jujitsu, Aikido, Jeet Kune Doe,
	and Wing Chun, although I am by no means an expert in these
	areas.

	Since I could go on forever about my interest and philosophies, I'll
	leave this section with that brief snyposis of my history and
	leave the rest for future posting! ;-)
