To block round house:
- step in to horse stance, double block, elbow strike ribs
- step in side block or leg block, reverse punch
To block straight punch:
- step 45 degrees to cat stance, OH cross block, OH side block, straight punch
Drills:
Lunge punch:
- step past and attack ( attacker does not let defender counter)
Nihanchi drills:
- 45 degrees back continously (lots of tension and explosion)
- Nihanchi back to cat
- Nihanchi back to nihanchi, snap forward to front stance, st punch.
3 person kick drill (focus) - 3 people in a line, hold hands,
outer 2 people kick to inner person (side, roundhouse kicks)
Squat, stand, kick, aternate legs.
