In teaching we learn twice: once when we receive, again when
we give. When we teach, we learn more in the learning, as we
need to know the details to be able to teach and answer
questions.

NOTE: by utilizing this to it?s fullest, we can enhance our
learning in all arenas of learning.

Often the problem is not with the ?world? but how we view it.
We do not see the world as it is, but how we are!

If you want to change your position in life, society,? you
may need to change your view of the world around you. Most of
us who work with PSA had to go though a shift in our view of
ourselves. The most obvious is going from an in-house
employee to a consultant-contractor. From there, we may have
to further change from employee to manager. We are encouraged
to change from employee to owner.

Pencom examples: System Administrators? who are profit
centers, bonuses for System Administrators, Going from
commissioned recruiters to salaried recruiters with bonuses.

The latter is probably the most important. Without that one
occurring, in all likelihood would not be here today. After
listening to Ed Taylor, some of the recruiters, Gordon
Galligher, other PSA members, I feel that that one paradigm
shift was the key to Pencom as we know it.

Habits are patterns of behavior composed of 3 over-lapping
components:
          * Skills: how to
          * Knowledge: what to, why to
          * Desire: want to

Results are only part of effectiveness. A key part, but only
part. It also has the second dimension of enhancing and
preserving our assets.

Our assets are: physical health, mental alertness, emotional
stability, skills, knowledge, values, and relationships. Not
just Money, equipment and buildings.

Effectiveness is getting the right results, either at the
right time or being able to recognize the right opportunity.
